Working from anywhere in the world
You know that delightful little dream of working from anywhere, with just a laptop? You know the image-- sitting on a beach with a floppy hat and a smug little grin, working on your laptop, getting paid while relaxing on the sand? Be sure that fantasy includes a good Internet connection. :-) Though I'm enjoying myself here at the St. Oberholz coffeeshop in Berlin, snarfing a delicious German pastry and sipping a latte, I have to log into my computer in Los Angeles for this particular bit of work... and it's taking me two hours to get finished what I could do in 15 minutes at home, all because their internet connection is so sluggish. Sehr frustrierend!
